There are only a few days left, 52 to be precise. A few things that I have noticed (positively) in the meantime: Firstly, there is a WhatsApp group with almost 400 participants. Wow – at first I thought that was going to be something. Everyone will share their memes and jokes, but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. Everyone keeps a low profile and only talks about the topic (i.e. preparing for the rally, off-roading, etc.). JentlFlow and two others had taken the opportunity to advertise their courses, with permission of course. So all in all a good experience – the discussions about tires were funny … Thank God we haven’t started talking about the religion of “oil” yet.
What about mobile data and phone calls? F***, it’s not even EU…
Secondly, the group drew my attention to the topic of SIM cards and it came to me – Bosnia is not even in the EU and therefore our EU-wide roaming does not apply there. The group is also helping here and has already posted a few tips. For my part, a work colleague organized an (e)SIM for me, as he is already going to Bosnia in June. We recommended BG Telecom – basically A1 from Bosnia. It’s the most expensive, but also the one with the best reception.

A bit of packing here and there
I’ve also started a list of things I need to take with me and it’s growing almost daily. Compared to my first blog entry, I laugh at myself for how naive I was “back then” and probably still am.
If you’re interested – here’s my list (probably growing):
