I think – let’s start the blog here and now!
Hey my name is Paul, I live in Austria and if you want to find out more about me, check out www.paulwuehrer.com. But… and this blog and this homepage is just about my experience and my diary for the Bosnia Raly 2025.
I’ve already written a bit about the idea of going to Bosnia – so if you haven’t read it yet, you can find out about the idea here – let’s do this.
Brief summary: I’ve been interested in off-roading for years, or actually my whole life, but somehow never had the opportunity to do it (apart from a few laps on the MX track). Due to the lack of “professional” adventure riding or experience in participating in a rally, I decided to do the Bosnia Rally. It’s a non-competitive rally, but a lot of fun. So for now I made up following plan in my head:
- Signing up for the rally – hopefully I get the early birds discount. That would be awesome.
- I need to get in shape… I think I really need to loose some weight. Preferable around the 15kg mark.
- Double check where I can and want to stay over. So far my idea is to keep it as low budget as it is possible. I am there for the experience not for a five star hotel.
- Preparing my bike
- Preparing my car and and the trailer
