It has been quite busy at home so I couldn’t post as much as I wanted to but hey meanwhile I did some changes on my bike.

If you have ever had an KTM ADVENTURE model you probably know that the handlebar is designed for street riding. That means the backsweep is quite high on the original handlebar, designed for comfy road riding. A MX handlebar is basically a straight handlebar to get the biggest possible momentum on the bike.

So I thought I would follow the ergonomics recommondation from JentlFlow – ordered a Renthal Fatbar but the higher one. Well, ordering is a litte bit over the top – I bought it on willhaben (austrian kijiji/kleinanzeigen/craigslist)

I know it’s really though to see but I swear there is a difference 😀 Howevery, installing the new handlebar was actually quite okay. Took me a while… maybe because I was having a few beers while doing it…

Final result:

Because I was already doing somehing on my bike and the guy who sold me the handlebar had also some bigger footpegs for sale (couldn’t say no to that guy) – I just replaced the original footpegs with offroad ones too

That’s it for today!
