The headline says it all – the sign-up for the Bosnia Rally 2025 is getting closer and closer and of course I’m already having doubts and seconds thoughts about the whole thing. However, It is not the rally per se, I am pretty sure about that, more about “should I really camp just to save a few euros?” In this case, a few would be 300 euros, as I’m driving alone and would therefore need a single room…
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to it and I’m super excited… Today I planned the trip to Kupres, Bosnia. It’s about 800km for me. That’s quite a distance, but to be honest, it’s definitely doable and rideable in one day.
On that topic – I’m currently thinking of going there in my little sweet ride – VW Polo 2009, 70 horses, 3 cylinders….
It’s a monster… not…but the OZ Rally style rims are my pride and joy 😀
So if anyone sees a little black Polo with a trailer and an 890 ADVENTURE R on it – give it a honk! – It is me!
Back to the serious stuff… I’m really thinking about installing some of the rails on my Polo and then putting these “roof baskets” on it. That way I could just throw all my tools or any dirty stuff on top of the car and not have to carry it in the car. Basically, it would also save me a lot of space in the small car. I really think I’m going to run into a space problem – what am I actually planning to take with me?
